I was able to get a decent old forky this year in a spot I hunt often.

I packed into the hot hills the third week of the season in central CA and found him looking for does.

Anchored him with a 250 yd shot from the .270 and gave him a ride in my pack to check out my freezer. I ended up getting him mounted as I doubt I will find a better framed buck in this area...

Thanks guys, big forky's are something special! His lone eyeguard was almost enough to get him walking papers... Almost.

Now I want to find a buck of similar frame that is a Spork! Now that is a goal...

Cool buck, I had a big 3x3 whitetail with really good mass I should have taken last year but he showed up first day of archery season and could let one fly yet. Wish I would have he was regressing I had seen him for three years prior and he was a 4x4.

Well done.

Great Cali buck you got there. Congratulations. Really like the short looking face on that deer.
