I was off on a long road trip and back just recently, and one of the talk shows was talking about what the impact humans have on the Earth.
Many good points were brought up, one in particular that I thought was very good...
Here is the scenereo....
Bush tells Rumsfeld
Rummy, I want you to do what it takes to actually melt a glacier, use what ever resources you have at your disposal with this great nation and let me know the outcome.
This is what the point actually was.
Do you think it could actually be done?
With all of the resources we have at our finger tips, is this even remotely possible?
Now, lets all be honest with ourselves?

How come when asked a very simple question on some thing that seems to be at the heart of a few the major problems of the world, there is no answer, only drum beating or hiding and letting the questions slip into oblivion?
