This was a guided hunt.

18 miles from the trailhead. Snowed all night and day after we got to camp.

The country we hunted.

The results on day 5.

Wife and me with my elk. Great trip with great people.

Congrats, great elk! You might mention the outfitter, the good ones deserve some accolades. Camp looks clean and comfortable. Hope your wife enjoyed the back country.

My wife said it was the best vacation she has ever been on, now that is saying something. We saw moose, deer, a grizzly bear and cub and elk. The elk were in heard of 60-70. Food was great and the guides, wranglers, cooks and the staff at the ranch worked hard to make our trip memorable and they were successful. The view from the cabin at the ranch.

That is some beautiful country. What elk area did you hunt ? Congrats and thanks for sharing.

Congrats on your bull! Great view of the Tetons!

Would you recommend them for a kids hunt. I want to get my son out in the next year or two. He's 12 now.

I would think if he is comfortable on/around horses he would do well. I also ask my wife and she said yes. They take down to 5 on summer wilderness pack trips.
So you know your son and can go from there.
