Heres a couple pictures of a couple mule deer me and my buddies took a few days ago. We hunted hard to get these bucks but it was fun. Lots of shoe leather, lots of glassing and lots of fun.
We located these two bucks from about 2 miles late one night with about 45 minutes of light left. My buddy Doug and I took off and jogged the 2 miles and got into position with about 10 minutes to spare. I took my buck and Doug missed the bigger one. We went back the next morning to retrieve mine and to try to locate the one Doug missed. We were able to find him about 1/2 mile from where Doug missed him the night before. It took all three of us about 2 hours of hard glassing to relocate him. My friend Frank was able to take him and its his best mule deer. It was fun, we looked over lots of mule deer, got some good hunting in, and learned a lot.
