Wyoming is rich !

At least the lithium is found in brine. I have two hard rock lithium surface mines within 20 miles of me, and they are two more unsightly scars on the land. Who knows what environmental impact all the brine will create? What will they do with it?
As far as any reduction in non-resident permit costs, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that.

No chance that revenues from lithium will be used for Game and Fish expenses. We will use the money to build more events complexes for Monster Truck Rally's and Mud Bogs. Maybe a Demolition Derby or two. YeeHaw!

This is creating quite the stir in Rock Springs. The location is very close to the Bridger Power Plant. The potential for storing CO2 combined with the revenue from the Lithium make this a very interesting find. We had a group from the high school out to the mine the other day and they were asking if we were worried about losing employees to the lithium mine. Their teacher had informed them that this discovery was going to change the state. I think this is a bit overblown and premature seeing as how it was found a couple of months ago. Getting the leases is the easy part. Permitting is when the delays will come in. None the less it will be interesting to see how this develops over the next 10 years.
