Wyoming Game and fish does care about their non-residents.

Yesterday while trying to purchase a left over Cow Elk tag I had gone all the way through the process up until actually paying for the tag.

The vendor for that process had a problem switching over for the payment process and I was never able to complete it. When I tried again for the area I wanted it was sold out.

Today I checked my email and I have an email from the WG&F stating they were tracking the sales and seen the problem with the credit card vendor and that because of that they still have a tag reserved for me.

They will send more info on how to finish the process or to tell them that I'm no longer interested in the tag.

Kudos to the Wyoming Game & fish

That's great. I can't wait to hopefully hunt Wyoming next year.

That doesn't surprise me in the least. I have never talked to government employees anywhere that are more knowledgeable and more willing to help. That goes for the secretary to specialists. Glad it worked out for you.

I've had great luck talking to everyone from Wyoming until this year. The game warden and biologist for the area I want to hunt refuse to answer their phone or return calls. Other than that, everyone I've talked to from Wyoming has gone above and beyond helping me, from federal, to state, to county employees. It's a great state with great people.

I had the same problem. And I lost out on the tag that I wanted. I finally got through on the phone lines, later in the morning. The very nice lady said that she'd file a report for me. I haven't heard anything back.

I haven't received an email, so I sent them one. I'm sure they're extremely busy so I'm not surprised that I haven't heard back yet.

I had four deer tags reserved yesterday for my group and was unable to complete the payment process. I did buy tags for a different area a little later, but I sure wish I could get the licenses I originally had.

I had an Unit 57 pronghorn buck tag in my cart and got kicked out. I better call tomorrow and see if they will still let me pay for it.

I love Wyoming. I've only hunted there once and it was phenomenal, and although my hearts in Idaho, I have noticed they are a little friendlier with their system for NR's.

A friend had some questions a few weeks ago regarding antelope hunting near Casper and Kaycee. I emailed a WY Biologist that I had spoken with in the past. In only a couple hours I had a reply, and he had cc'd the warden and the access coordinator. Both of those gentlemen emailed me by the end of the day and included their phone numbers in case I had any further questions. Fast, friendly, and helpful folks at the WY GF!

I had a problem when I got to the payment also. My problem just happened to be my credit card was getting flagged for making a purchase in Wyoming when I live in Kentucky. I called my credit card company and got it straightened out and was able to purchase my tag.

I had the same issue and when I got back in the tag I was trying to buy was sold out. So I ended up getting a different one. I got the same email yesterday so now I can get the tag I wanted. Wyoming is a great state to deal with.

I just got a call for my tags, I got the boot in the credit card site too. They are calling everyone but it's taking time. Very great customer service and people.
