Heat source options for tent camping.

Anyone using the diesel heaters in a tent as big as 12 x 20? mtmuley

A single diesel heater will not keep that warm. I've been using one in my garage and it takes the edge off but it's far from warm. For what you're doing, I'd go nu wave and wood stove

I removed a half mile long fence row of that. We split it all and burned it. The key is to let it dry for a year first before splitting. Then it pops apart like a firecracker.

How’s the flue buildup? Outdoor burning only for me

Looking at the same thing myself
For me my plan is to use a wood stove.
I dont have any issues with using propane if it is a vented system. We use old Warm Morning stoves some and they work well. I just dont want to carry the propane or run out when im hours from any place that sells propane.
And at least for the areas I hunt out west wood is easy to get ahold of.
A small chainsaw will handle anything I need and its a good easy heat source.

I’ve not tried this but if you have a wall tent I’m assuming camping at pickup, any reason to use coal?
Yep, I go through a couple hundred pounds a year in the wall tent. Coal holds the heat and the fire, but not warm enough on its own. I usually fill the stove at night with wood and 4-5 big pieces of coal, holds the fire pretty good for 5-6 hours. Wake up once, fill it again and good until the alarm goes off.
