Wyoming Draw Results 2026

Yikes, it’s getting tough out there to get bull tags, West General tag was 6 points in the regular draw, 4 points in the special. 4156 NR applicants for the West General that didn’t draw, quite a log jam. 10% odds in the random. No real solution for it either, there’s just more people that want to hunt than there is game available.
You nailed it with that last sentence, and higher points and tag fees are not a factor. Those with deep pockets will fork it over. I've watched hunting become a "Rich Man's Sport" for decades here in Wyoming.

To be fair, no NR vacation hunts are cheap, but I still wouldn’t consider the cost of a NR public land DIY hunt a “rich man’s sport”. Rich or poor, still takes the same amount of time to accumulate points. Any working stiff that wants it bad enough can come up with $75/year for a point and a grand for an elk tag. Especially if it’s 10 years between tags, which, I guess could be spun to say it’s even more affordable than before 😂.

Couple refunds incoming! Not too mad about it, should still have some good hunts this fall OTC and still a few more draws to come!
