WY "high dollar" tags...are they worth it?

I've been doing some research into hunting in WY for antelope/mule deer/elk...have read that the odds for drawing are not that much higher for people who send in for the 'extra expensive' tags. I'm not made of 'extra' cash so I dont have $$$ to just throw away.
Any of you have experience/opinions on the 'expensive' vs regular tags?...are they really worth it?

you could look at draw odds, use the program on the home page. yes it makes a difference on some hunts.

but for the most popular area's, no its not worth it IMO.

You really got to check the odds. in the past, the odds for some hunts were actually better with the regular app. Then again, for others your odds can go way up with the special app. Good Luck

Like the others said, it all depends on the hunt you are applying for. And other people read the odds too, so it sometimes changes from year to year. I've decided to pick a plan and stick with it year after year. I'm bound to beat the odds-readers one of these years.
