It's drilled and tapped for 5/8-11. I have an 18" stainless all thread that will go into the cross 8" and the rest in a concrete base at his headstone.

Perfect. I knew that you had it covered. I was just curious.

I was going to just drill and epoxy it but got the idea to see if it would hold tapped threads. The wood is so hard that it cut clean crisp threads.

I suppose I could see that based on the specimen you’re working with.
