The other posts on that FB page are beyond belief. Lots of "wild horses are being slaughtered" and other such nonsense. I was really disappointed in Polis for not dismissing Kessler. He released a statement (prior to her resignation) that he doesn't monitor his appointees' personal lives or what they do on social media, which is a total cop out. Her statement was so far over the top and directed at exactly the people she was supposed to be working with as a professional.Good Riddance!
Ellen Kessler, controversial appointee to state vet board, resigns after calling ranchers 'lazy,' 'nasty'
Kessler, appointed to the state vet board in 2020, has earned the wrath of ranchers and farmers for what they view as inflammatory attacks on the livestock industry.www.9news.com

The ranchers in Walden will be a little happier. This guy got this one by encampment. Thing looks huge.
My mom lives in Saratoga she said it’s been the buzz in the hardware store where she works for a few days now. Everyone says the same thing. Can’t believe how big it is.Man they are big
I swear, if people looked past the letter after a candidates name, we as sportsmen would be in a better position on many fronts...

SSS!
Bingo there’s the real problem that’s comingAnd you can bet your ass that the yuppies of CO will fight against a wolf hunting season even if you have 30,000 of them.
Give them an inch and they will take a mile. This is just the beginning. No worries, the extreme environmentalists will demand wolves remain untouchable.
Once that breaks... and that's a long ways off, they'll demand corridors, highways overpasses, and 50-100 mile buffer zones around every park / other boundary they can sick their attorneys upon.
They'll demand, not based on science, the areas outside those "buffer zones" where wolves given cute names are given further protection with garbage quotas of one, maybe two, may be taken.
Trapping will be criminalized because cute named wolf was captured in a conibear restraint trap where Denver / Boulder news write of the agonizing pain that led to the cute, mother, and named, "Jenny" murdered for "sport"!
The buffered miles expand further...
With mass cities and liberal extreme environmental supported media, capable passing petitions to moms outside shopping stores to reach a point to force transplanting the apex predator wolves, Colorado, using Newberg's words, is the Titanic heading straight for the iceberg.
Many more years away from potentially "managing" this apex predator far beyond Montana and Idaho, who due to the extreme pendulum swing of State politics countered with the opposite Federal pendulum political swing, now face extremist environmental attorneys pressing Federal ESA again.
Politics, cute puppies, and free roam w/o State management of their numbers.
Speak of Pandora's Box... you've a hellofa long fight to begin managing their numbers. Montana and Idaho sure didn't help your cause any either. Wow! What a Debbie downer post, though... You're following a 40 + year fight to manage wolves, in States much more supportive of hunting/trapping wolves than Colorado.
