Nice work once again! I hear you on the lack of meat, normally I get about 45 pounds back from the processor.

My wife was very disappointed I didn't bring her any coues backstraps this year. She loves to eat them I just can't convince her to kill one.

Nicely done on her first deer and I'm guessing it will not be her last. Coues deer get under the skin pretty fast and I fully admit holding out on coues deer is the hardest thing I do in the hunting arena. I love those little buggers on the grill waaaayyyy to much.

Again congrats to your wife on her success and look forward to reports on her future hunts. We are packing up for my wife's late season bull next week. Taking my bride hunting has become one of my favorite hunts of the year, no matter the tag or animal we pursue.
