How many of your wives/girlfriends wear watches? And what would they recommend? I want to get my wife a watch for Christmas, she is outside all the time so it needs to be rugged, we are very analog people so the likes of Apple Watches are out.

From personal experience they don’t get the hint that they need to manage their time better so you can actually leave on time You have to set it 15 minutes fast and don’t tell her.
Mine refused to wear a watch in order to have plausible deniability. And yet her phone was never more than an arms reach away with a huge clock on the lock screen. 🤷‍♂️

I’m in the “wife/girlfriend” category and strictly analog. I picked up an Armitron watch like this at a second hand store and wear it every stinkin day. It’s bombproof and I can change the battery without breaking it. https://www.jcpenney.com/p/armitron...MIqtGb3o_ilwMVRX5vBB1KRzrVEAQYBSABEgK3yfD_BwE

My wife is on her second Apple Watch, giant waste of money. Has to be charged every night, still late for everything, can’t answer the phone even when she also receives notifications through the thing on her wrist… stick with a timex, at least that way you aren’t upset when it doesn’t get used

I am also an analog watch fan. I really liked my solar powered one- I lost my last one last winter somewhere while I was skinning coyotes and need to get a new one. I can’t remember which brand that one was, but I’ve been looking at the Citizen EcoDrive ones. But the solar was nice. Had my last one for like 7 years. No batteries to change, it held up to field work and everything, and looked nice.
