Hey everyone. I was just curious if yall know of any good places to hunt jacks in Utah? If you would rather DM me where you hunt them, thats fine.

What do jackrabbits do that make you hate them? Seams like about everything I shoot I have a way to justify it in my mind (weather it be right or not). Honest question, what is that justification for a jackrabbit?

I don't hate them. I actually eat them. Most people don't but I actually like them better than snowshoe hare. Because I eat them I don't think its bad to kill since I'm using them.

Right on that's awesome. 🤘

I know people that take their kids out and just shoot every single jackrabbit and cottontail and bird they see perched on a fencepost and just leave them lay. Rubs me the wrong way, and as you can see I'm sour about it. Glad that's not the case here. I've never actually heard of people eating jackrabbits, but I was home schooled and I've been accused of being uncultured at times.

Not that you need my permission. :ROFLMAO:

I feel the same way. I don't see why would just kill stuff if you aren't going to use any part of it and if they are a native species as well. I might get some shame for eating the so called sage rats lol, but the are good off-season training and they taste great.
