Whats with E bikes in whitetail hunting?

Don't own one, but I have used my mountain bike to get back into the swamp via the bike trails in my area. I don't have the luxury of injury free feet and legs, in fact , I am still courting a foot injury from Ranger school in '79.

Remember back in the 70s when Honda came out with 3 Wheelers, same thing just a different name and decade. All you had to do is wait until 9:30 and everyone who owned a 3 wheeler was riding the trails. Once Leasing became the main choice of hunting close to home folks started to gravitate to 3 and then 4 wheelers as most of the times you would have to get past where others had stands on your lease. I hear so many false things said about eastern hunters vs western hunters. The main thing is you hunt the way the country allows you to hunt, plain and simple. Almost all eastern hunters are hunting on Tree Farms that we have to lease for our hunting. You have some National Forest or State WMAs for hunting and you can be very successful or you can see a half dozen pumpkins walk right past you like out west. What I like about an E-Bike is I can ride with Pedal Assist like a 35 year old when I am turning 70 this year. I get to exercise without the struggle of age pulling me back as long as I don't use it as a scooter. John

Carry the extra clothes on your backpack.
The people I’m referencing don’t think like that. They think “it’s cold, I’m going to be cold. I need to dress for the cold.” And never consider that moving might make them warm enough they should lose a layer to walk in. Or take a backpack to carry the Little Debbie’s.

I feel like I’m being targeted.
Nah. You’re probably smart enough to take the backpack, rather than just stuffing pockets only to sit on the Christmas tree cakes and crush them somewhere during the morning.

Ive rode a mountain bike into a special hunt draw I got in a seasonally closed Corp of Engineers camp ground, and I get that some people do get around to well either with injuries or disabilities. My feet aren't the best either anymore, its wierd how the army does that to them. My dumbfoundness about them in Kansas is most places where people use them are only a few hundred acres in size at most. A person who's good enough to walk and play the wind doesn't gain a lot.
Maybe im dense through.

Maybe western whitetail are a little slower than their midwestern counterparts.

I’ve checked a camera and multiple times within the hour I’ve had deer, elk, bears and mountain lion walking my path, feeding, hanging out, totally unaffected by my scent.
I was out on a grassfire yesterday caused by Abrams and Bradley gunnery training and right in middle on firing area were whitetails just hanging out like nothing is going on. Granted, there probably somewhat used to military training, but that's still a lot of activity and scent. I know scent is important but im not sure e-bikes are going make any difference.

Whitetail hunters are bunch of fatass pansies. That’s my take away from this thread.
I’m set up right now about 75 yards from a state highway. I drove out to the blind in my truck, dropped my gear, and drove further into the field to park. I gotta use the restroom, #2, and I’m already out of little mike and Ike’s. I’m thinking about calling my wife to see if after dark she will drive out here and pick me up to bring me to my truck. Fml.

There's an awful lot of them. However, when I was in wyoming last week, I sure did see an awful lot of residents never get off the sxs. I'm not really sure how they planned on killing an elk, in that kind of terrain that way.Maybe i'm missing something.

NO E BIKES.

I am an avid mountain biker. Ride them in the city if you like and beltways. Stay outta my way on trails. Up or down.

rant over thanks for not caring most likely,
