Dummy me forgot to get a picture. Found a whitetail shoulder deep in the freezer and smoked it for 3 hours today. It's been in the crock pot with beef broth for the past 6 hours. I'll shred it, make a gravy and probably serve over rice tomorrow.

Didn't get a picture, but I pan seared some fresh elk backstrap and then threw it in the smoker for a couple hours. Some of the best I've had in a long time. Rubbed it with salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, thyme, and some all purpose seasoning. Came out incredible.

Not a smoker, but I couldn't turn down free. The bottom is partially rotted and the grates could stand to be replaced but all 5 burners plus the side warmer work. I can line the bottom easy enough. If it doesn't work out I have a dumpster. Now I can pick between a charcoal or gas grill, offset wood burning smoker and a pellet grill/smoker. Choices.
