Hiking up mountains or walking huge distances for your hunting, forget my following suggestion.
But I and many others in the UK use 4 garden 6' poles lashed together, they are like shooting off a bipod and are good out to 200 yards, after that I go prone on my bipod if possible, if not then it walks.
@brymoore @Sawtooth @Dave N have used them to shoot deer with me.
They are lightweight and cheap.
