What did you do Saturday?

I got a chance to hunt with 3 other vets on a ranch on the North Platte in Nebraska this weekend. This was the result for Saturday. We were hosted by an incredible family out of Denver that owns the ranch and it was an awesome weekend. I am not a bird hunter but days like this sure do make it attractive

Not only was the hunting great, but hanging out with three other combat vets (all of us broke/disabled to some degree) was wonderful. Our hosts treated us like family and the whole weekend was one big party. On Saturday night the local folks who helped support the program came out for a meet and greet/ hoedown and it went pretty late. I always love being back in the Midwest around such straightforward people.
