I've got shoulder issues myself!
Congrats on a fine kill!
Really feels good when it all comes together and success lays at our feet.
My big goal is a gobbler with my .410!
Reduced recoil for shoulder replacement surgery.
Thought I'd get out this spring. NOPE!
Surgery on an ankle to enhance mobility became available on Apr 5th. Season opens on Apr 6th! So, I bit the bullet. Let's do the surgery. Get that over with!
This year was pathetic here in OK! Not a bad year to sit out if you gotta sit one out.
On the gf! (Ms. kansasdad). I married late in life, holding out for the best one.
It's been 42 years now! I can't think of a better person to lay down beside each night.
When discussing purchasing guns, she's never told me "No.".
I did get a, "Can it wait until payday?".
It could.
I did.
It was still there.
It's in the safe!
She's still in the kitchen!

Wow, what a special meal. I used the two breast tenders cut and pounded, crisped up in butter, and then cooked the morels with sherry and heavy cream. Delicious!

Congratulations, that is great! As we just crossed the 10 year mark it’s hard to fathom 40, but I’m sure looking back you wonder where the time went and it seems like yesterday when you said your vows.

Congratulations on the anniversary! The ol' crossbow sounds like it's going to keep food on the table for years to come. You got any good suggestions for 40 years? That milestone is coming up in the spring for us.

Those are lovely and thank you for sharing, but I meant the gift that you are taking for a walk after an anterless whitetail!
The gift that keeps on giving. 42 years in the books with all the birdies (adult children, spouses, grandkids) coming home to roost this Christmas week.
