What causes this?

I read this on FB put on there from Cabelas. I have heard of this happening but, but never witnessed or saw one. What causes this? I guess it's nature. But Humans have have had this problem too. Is it two eggs being fertilized and growing as one? I'd like to know the facts as its really interesting. Someone that is a little more computer literate than I can try to post story and picture on here. I tried but could only get the link with copy and paste.

When I started hunting back in Nebraska, a 9 point (4x5) doe was shot near Cedar Bluffs, NE. She supposedly was in velvet and had soft antlers during the rut. It was supposed to have something to do with hormone imbalance.
