Artificial Intelligence and Public Comment

I don't fear AI as in the "machine taking over", but I do fear AI and how my children will have to deal with it. I'm an adult, I can figure it out and if I get dupped, oh well! My children, however, are at an age where they can be easily influenced and taken advantage of. It doesn't take much nowadays to use social media pictures to create deepfakes to blackmail or terrorize children with.

I know for a fact AI has been used for years by militaries when it comes to SERE or conduct after capture type training, where they manipulate information about you and your family, in order to see if you'll break. That's being used in training environment with good effects on people, people who know it's training and all make believe, yet still fall for it.

What percentage of items that are up for public comment do you think those comments are actually wanted? In the states I am even casually familiar with, the public comments are often ignored.

I just got done reding through some public comments on a state level issue. About 1/2 of them weren't spelled properly, and out of those, 1/2 misidentified the issue at hand.

Yeah so AI will make 80% of the world’s workforce unemployed. In doing so, producers of stuff also don’t pay salary, benefits, certain taxes. So you could also approximate significant price drop of stuff. Everything from your new mattress to processing a building permit is way cheaper because the cost of human capital has been removed.
Then of what value is currency? If the millionaire of today can afford what a thousandaire of tomorrow will be able to buy then money will be reduced as a means of control, persuasion.
The deployment of AI slashing prices will eventually create a “power” vacuum where rich assholes lose control of the politicians, courts, bureaucracy.

The world could see a Renaissance
of values. Right now, money is king value because only through money can we survive. When money becomes unnecessary then we’ll again look at individual merit; how we value others for their individual talents, not by their monetary wealth. Think of it, why would we elect some of these trash humans to political or judicial positions if money wasn’t involved? We wouldn’t. Instead we would vote for third party candidates who volunteer at the fire department and coach our kids. Good men whose benefit to our community is priceless.
Always look on the bright side of life, Brian.
