Due to COVID-19 concerns, Fort Carson reduced staffing has led to unintended impacts on the Spring Turkey Season. Through an abundance of precaution, the hunting season was delayed to allow employees to follow precautionary stay at home orders and allow emergency services personnel to focus on the rapidly evolving nature of the COVID-19 emergency. We are pleased to report that Fort Carson is now able to provide opportunities for Spring Turkey Season beginning April 18.
Training Areas North of Fort Carson main supply route 8 will be open. A state of Colorado hunting license and a Fort Carson hunting permit are required. Fort Carson hunting and fishing permits can be acquired at: Fortcarson.isportsman.net.
