Season in Colorado is fast, furious and short. Long gone, long done. I could have shot cows, small bulls and medium bulls, but I had a couple bulls in mind and went from Hero to Zero!!!!

Besides signing up at the food bank for my winters meat, my fathers shop and freezer is a couple hundered yards from his house, he'll never hear me raiding the freezer, he is old.

It took a lot of years and a lot pain to get that guy on a big bull. Sometimes I call him the Moses of the elk world, as he can part giant herds with just his mere presence.

No kids that I know of, just a kid at heart. My little friends were there that day with my dad.

I found that other rack, always a curse when I find one, never kill anything then.

My elk season was one of my brother and me going back and forth. You shoot it, no you shoot it. I'm not shooting that dink, then why would I want to butthead?. Back and forth until the elk disappear.
