Just loaded up some more 7PRC/168ABLR rounds to try this Saturday. Close and time to fine tune. powders include Retumbo, N560 and N565.

Have you had much luck with the ablr? The few guns I shot them in they were picky as hell.

I spend a TON of time reloading. I shoit small group Benchrest so I am constantly reloading my 6ppc rounds! I also shoot several handguns and rifles. Currrently I am working on reload for two different 7PRC rifles I have.

Opened a new box of Berger 215s and was surprised at the amount of difference in BTO. I had to seat the bullet over 10thou deeper than the previous lot to get the jump this rifle likes. Backed off the powder, tried a few different charges and as usual, 215Bergers/H1000 is the the easiest load to find in a 300winmag. Velocity is a little slower than the last load but it's definitely not as hard on the brass. I'll press out 200 rounds next weekend.

7.62x39 110gr Barnes Tac TX over AA1680. Bullets for the .300BLK, but I think this may work. Cut down tip to a flat point to load into magazine COAL at 2.19”. No report downrange yet and I hope to see 2,500fps+.
If I’m there at velocity and accuracy then I’ll try tips and tips removed expansion and rough depth testing with water jugs.

16” AR upper, feed it with Duramags.

Loaded 400 rounds of 147ELDM for plinking/squirrel control. My Ruger M77 MKII with a 28" heavy barrel shoots these into one hole and the rifle is about 14lbs so it's almost feels like shooting a .223........

At what point do you stop measuring in grains and go to ounces???

If a metric boatload isn’t applicable, I don’t know what is. Possibly even edging in €*+# ton territory.

Nominally, 517. They are a bit lighter than what many prefer.

Not sure what rifle seating dies your using, but none of mine touch the tips.

Load development for a 6.5cm with 130TGK and Staball 6.5. I couldn't find any load data for this combination but factory loads were listed as 2950fps and should be pretty close to that with the upper charges

I’ve considered the same combo for my 6.5 Swede, so very interested in your results.

IMO that Staball 6.5 can be safely (judiciously) pushed max+ recommended charge. With the bonus of decoppering additive, makes a terrific option for that standard/light mag group.
