Just One

I wouldn't be thrilled with this as I'd want to make some pistol/rifle changes if I knew I needed 1 "all arounder".

Pistol - Shield 9 M&P performance center gets the most use

Rifle - Tikka custom 7 SAUM, 22" 8 twist krieger Kiwi composites carbon stock. LRTS scope - This is a little heavier than ideal with the current steel barrel. Also have a HCA carbon barrel for it that shaves weight but doesn't shoot as well.

Shotgun - Winchester SX3 3.5" Black 12 ga 26" barrel

Handgun: Sig Sauer p226 in 9mm

Shotgun: Winchester SX4 28” 12 gauge with 3.5” chamber

Rifle: Weatherby weathermark in 6.5 creed

This was tough, I ignored ammo availability and chose my favorite to shoot.

Rifle: Tough one. I’ll give it to the newest member…a 700 7 Rem Mag with an old K4
Handgun: S&W 29 44 mag nickel
Shotgun: Browning Gold — eventually will upgrade to a double or Drilling…need St Brent’s guidance
MZ: meh
Rimfire: Single Six blued
Bonus round: Black Widow PSA X recurve

Pistol- hk usp compact 9mm

Rimfire- rem 572 bdl

Rifle- sorry but I can't, just can't pick one

Shotgun- love my benellis but it'd be a
rem 870

if I had to pick just one I could put more meat in the freezer with that pump 572 .22lr all around

It's not right that some of you have such easy choices. Get out there and pick up some new options to make it more difficult to choose.

Rifle - Rem 700 Mt rifle in .270, first centerfire I bought

Shotgun - my 11-87 has seen many miles in the briars and days on the marsh, but I think Dad's A5 would get the nod

Pistol - Ruger Blackhawk in .44 Mag

Rimfire - Browning T Bolt with the maple stock, maybe the only one I bought just because of the stock

Oh boy. Like and love vs. survival and practicality. Damn

Rifle- while I would like to say my Nosler 30 or .28 or 270 wsm, or my Ruger Scout 308 I think I would have to choose my Marlin 338 MXLR. It’s short, fast, reliable in any weather and can kill almost anything.

Pistol- while I would like to say one of my 10mm or my Casull it would have to be my Ruger GP100

Shotgun- Winchester SX3. I should say my Benelli Nova because it’s a pump and you can’t make it not shoot.

Rimfire- Marlin Model 60. First gun I ever got. From my dad on my 12th birthday.

Interesting thread. I have the most experience with shotguns, so that's about the only type of gun I could make an informed choice about. I'd pick 12 ga. Mossberg 500 in walnut. I've yet to find a rifle I like, and I know even less about handguns.

Hmmmm…. Im following the rules and going with what VG asked, from my safe.

Rifle: Savage .338-06, VX3i 3.5-10x40. Hopefully before this magic choice comes around, I’ll fix the stock and twist on a lighter barrel.

Handgun Ruger GP100 .357 4”. I love this gun. Shot it a lot with cast bullets and even have used it to hunt cottontails. Just all around useful to me.

Shotgun: One of my Rem 870’s, probably the first Express I bought as my first shotgun. 12Ga, 28” barrel and a Mod choke is basically permanent.

Rimfire: this might be the toughest. Been having a ball with a Single-Six recently but would have to go with my old sweetheart. Glenfield 25 with the old Bushnell 4x. Not even close to the most refined rimfire out there, but I’m attached to it and all the memories. It wasn’t even my first .22, just my favorite.

You know the answer, the two guns I use to hunt everything: WWII Springfield 30-06 and 1961 Browning A-5 Magnum Twelve.20211114_083339.jpgBlack Beauty 2.JPG
I still own a very nice S&W Highway Patrolman with custom rosewood grips but it resides in my brother's safe.

Rifle would be my 7 SAUM, love the rifle's accuracy, it's fun to shoot and it's enough to do the job.

Shotgun would be my CZ Redhead 12 gauge, being an O/U I enjoy shooting it and it simply works.
Pistol would my XDM 40S&W, it's always been reliable for me.
Rimfire would be my John Deere 10/22, it's one of a kind and my son put it together for me and did the paint, so it's functional and sentimental.

Rifle would be Browning Abolt in 7 mag
Shotgun, 870 Express 12ga
Hand gun, 1911.
Everything is utilitarian because if I have to grad one of each, crap has hit the fan.
