Tight little group and that was sitting in a chair over a flimsy tripod.
All brass looks good, the 3809 was probably the projectile I pulled from a 22 hornet. Had a bit of a tussle to get it to go in as it had marks from the pliers.

My guess would be that the pulled bullet would be the 3714 as the plier marks would cause more drag unless the bullet weight was lighter?

Good question, I’ll have to let you know in about a week. Should be in the 3230s with the ELD-Ms and hope to kiss 3350 with the HHTs.

Not if the Hammers shoot like I expect them to. I know plenty of folks use match bullets on big game with success but it isn’t for me. Hornady is releasing a 128gr. ELD-X in .25-cal at some point this summer that I could see myself liking.

Ive used amaxs with success - but i wouldnt want to shoot them too fast - id be concerned theyd not hold up. Lot of people doing it though.

I picked up some "once fired" 35 Whelen brass off Gunbroker. In a happy reverse of the usual, more than half of it was unfired.
Sized and trimmed and in slip cases until needed.

I have a Mauser 98 in progress. I bought it off the used rack at Cabela's. The rack was full of Mauser 98's in various stages of completion. They said they had bought the lot from an estate. It has a stepped contour 30-06 barrel hand tight in the action now. It has been a while now, but I think I paid about $250 for it?

Kreiger #2 contour sitting in the case with it. It is currently sitting in a Parker Hale stock. I haven't made any decisions on what the stock will be.
It will need a bolt handle job and jeweling.

I took it and another Mauser to Ed Lapour for his 3 position safeties to be installed. MRS45 and I did a weekend in Bremerton last year and I squared up with him. It is next in line to go to @p_ham to be finished when I get the funds.

Bought some wads today. Over summer in going to load up some low pressure loads for use in my old side by side. Will use it to chase some ruffed grouse this fall. Also need to refill my 22-250 stash for coyotes next winter

Did a first batch of conversation for a new to me cartridge, went great super easy. I’m just going to refer to it as 25arcR since it uses the same shell holder and AMP pilot as my 6arc. I ordered a barrel for my Encore, but it probably won’t be here for a couple months.

I literally just dropped a Tikka and a 20" Carbon Six barrel to get turned into a 25 PRC at the gunsmith this morning. I haven't even shot my 25-7 yet!
