I read, Sound of the String, Isham, approximately 8-10 years ago and just finished it again recently.

I believe even if you dont hunt with a bow you would enjoy this book, as it captures the sights and sounds of Africa very well.

This book is a fascinating read about a one-armed rancher living in the Gila around the turn of the century.

Crucible of Honour: The Battle of Roxie’s Drift by James Mace. Very good! Can’t wait to read the other volumes of the Anglo-Zulu War by him. Loved the movie Zulu and have to watch it at least once a year. Very surprised of the “reality vs movie”
Especially how Pvt Hook is portrayed
