West Yellowstone Bison?

Not to be a "Debbie-downer", but it's not the tag it was when Randy drew back a few years ago. I drew this tag in fall of 2018 and hunted opening week and every weekend of the season except for thanksgiving and christmas.

I'm happy to provide whatever info I can to help, but it is not what I would classify as a "hunt". It's a "wait if they migrate out" then shoot one.

hey man i drew a 395-20 tag my first ever year applying for it as a 23 year old and im just looking for any information i can get on the hunt or the unit in general, would be extremely grateful!

You need winter to happen so the bison leave the park

The state hunters did really well in west Yellowstone this year. I believe all the tags were filled. Get a sled and check horse butte. Good luck
