I'm listening through the entire bible when I run this year. I'm through the New Testament and about halfway through the Old Testament. Sometimes things stick out at you more when you are listening to the bible being read than when you read it yourself.
You guys are posting good stuff, I'm just posting stuff that stuck out in my head for one reason or another when I was running. This verse from 2 Kings 4 sure seems odd when you see it by itself.
"34 Then he got on the bed and lay on the boy, mouth to mouth, eyes to eyes, hands to hands. As he stretched himself out on him, the boy’s body grew warm."
Elisha actually raised him from the dead, but it seemed an odd way to do it to me.
Just don't call him Baldy or he might sic some bears on you!

Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. I believe You over what the “experts” tell me. I believe that You are faithful and expect to see Your goodness all the days of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen
