That is not going to be tolerated here.

Some of you legacy guys think you are untouchable and like to skirt the line.

I’m guessing it was the guy who posted the hood. Totally inappropriate !! I had just returned from having dinner with a friend of color when I saw the post. I must say I was more than disappointed that a member of this forum would post such a thing !!

Hopefully not if you mean the Maga hood. That was political commentary and not directed at or denigrating a minority. I totally disagree with the insinuation of the post, but I'd hate to see that type of speech cause a ban. Not that I want to see politics here, but there was nothing racist in that post.

Zero politics would be my preference. Having an active political bent brings more views, but they are off topic and often lead to the death of the forum.

See, to me this is such an ignorant post.
Go ask a group of minorities if they think a klan hood of any kind is acceptable.

Doesn’t matter if it’s red, blue, tie-die, etc. That hood has been a symbol of hate for years and some. How in the world could you sit here and say it has nothing to do with racism.

By your logic we can post swastikas as long as they are a different color and have a political motive?

I wasn’t going to dig into this because my goal is to keep the forum on track, not highlight who was banned. That part is irrelevant, but seeing how some of you think certain behaviors are acceptable, let’s put it out there.



A KKK hood with a political motive was posted in the meme thread.

Read my post above. If you think that’s ok because it was used in the context for politics and completely just neglecting the symbol itself, you are the problem.

This isn’t removing some war statue or changing some sports team name due to “woke” culture. It’s a damn klan hood and a few of you are trying to defend it.

Again I urge you to ask your minority friends, coworkers, etc what they think of it. I bet they won’t laugh like you will…..
