Not the first time someone has done this sort of thing around here. About 25 years ago an anti-hunting group was throwing roofing nails out on popular forest roads during deer season. They got me. Not much fun having two flat tires and only one spare, miles from the nearest phone. Even now, there isn't any cell service in that area.

But I was due for some new tires anyway.
