Our Modern Rifle season started Saturday. I met a buddy at the Lease and we went to our stands where mid morning I shot a Doe. When I got back to the Camp I met with the Hunters and we talked about "Did you see or get one?" Just fun talk, the gentleman I have known and been taking Fishing and Hunting for the last 30 years says "Yeah, I shot." Well I ask him how bad did you miss? He say "Who said I missed?" Well Dick is 78 or 79 and this past week he had 3 Stints put in his Heart, wears an Insulin Pump......to say he is healthy would be an understatement! LOL. Well my buddy Wes and I go pull out a Huge Doe Dick had shot although he said he had called his son to do it. Heck half the fun is getting your hands on the Deer, mine, yours, it doesn't matter. We're Hunting! I clean the thing and load it up for Dick, just as his son drives up. He owes me one! 
I hope my little Hunting tale tells about how we all hope to be when we reach that level or age. Just give me one more Hunt! John
