Although it is happening, and there is a website for that outrage as well. To your point, it doesn't matter if one state or county blocks it and it gets built in the next county or state. My point was we should care about what happens to the data. We aren't going to stop it from being amassed. It doesn't matter if it is a Flock camera or some other brand.Oh niave child... That's just not how those developments work. You almost categorically can't stop them because they come with enough money to check all the boxes, meet all the demands, provide everything you ask of them. And if you simply say, "no" they'll sue. Because it's discrimination to allow everything from cancer factories ( Bayer) to pig farms, but not allow data centers. We've been working "with" them for 7 years. Mostly against our will.
