Valid concern or paranoia?

If your doing nothing wrong it shouldn’t make your worried. Why the cameras are there ( and everywhere) is what it is. None of them will go away nor will there be less in the future.

Now, stop picking your nose!
*removed what read like a personal attack* "if your doing nothign wrong it shouldn't make you worried" is just not the correct way to look at this one.

They don't prosecute the political criminals that have raped and robbed our country blind, but they sure do like to go after that average Joe. Ive only read one story about using flock cameras to solve a child abduction case quickly. Many more stories have been about abusing them or using it for meaningless infractions.

From a legal standpoint, you cannot expect privacy when in public - filming is legal and thats been proven over n over. However, these are not people filming, its a computer filming as a mass surveillance tool by the government which raises 4th amendment concerns. When we start acting like Britain, American's start throwing tea in the harbor, or in this case, taking sawzalls to the flock camera poles.

Im not a fan of them at all. I have licenses that require a clean record, I pay taxes, don't speed, just a regular citizen with kids and nothing to hide from a camera. Id much rather have the ability to defend myself and not depend on law enforcement being 5 min away or peeping on my every move.

When they aim flock cameras at gun stores and home improvement stores, it's as if they are tracking those who can function independently vs those who cannot. Im 1,000,000% sure the data is not just stored locally, and is being abused by shady gov agencies.
