Have a Northern Region tag for elk. Any suggestions of where to go? This is my first year hunting the muzzle loader elk. Usually do bow. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Rich Co. seems to get a few folks for the ML elk hunt. Just be aware, that as late as that season is, in that country, snow can make travel tough. But, if we do get some snow, I'd be for checking out the hunter access areas on the eastside of Bear Lake. I've seen elk there during the ML hunt.
