Prior to 30 mins before sunrise, 1st Saturday of November, when every indiscernible shadow looks like a big wary buck, for years, I would text my Louisiana buddy @DRAFTSTUD and describe the show about to unfold. Most times it turned out to be a mesquite clump or a dawn moon shadow. Rarely, yet occasionally, the real deal, but I can't recall ever taking a whitey on opening morning....a pig now, that's different.
I really need to get back to to that fellowship ritual.
