It has been some years since I last took a gobbler. We don't have them in NW Ontario although I did see a Jake 10 years ago and got trail cam pics of a Tom at a few mineral sites 3 or 4 years back. Quite strange but very cool. Anyway, I have taken quite a few Eastern's in Ontario and Merriam's in Nebraska with a few others mixed in like Oklahoma and Florida. Jay gets it done. I was lucky enough to get drawn here in AZ. 2 years ago and didn't have to spend the big bucks in Mexico. Have all but My Osceolla now ,hope to go to Fla. next year to finish my slam. Here ar pics from 2 years ago. My kids and I raise most of our own white meat. Minus the 2-3 wild turkeys we get a year. This is one of our Toms that is getting ready to go. He was feeling the 4th of July last night. It's going to be tough to kill a patriot.
