I own a bunch of electric and gas in all shapes and sizes. The high end electrics are amazing these days and likely have more power than their gas counterparts. BUT if it’s in the teens or below the batteries won’t work unless you warm them up and even if you have the ability to charge them they can’t be cold to charge. Also, if the battery runs out your toast. I usually pack a gas saw with the pre mixed cans in the winter. If I know the temps will stay high I’ll bring the electric so I don’t have to deal with the fuel.

Why pre mixed?
It's pretty convenient to have a can of the pre mix as opposed to a gas can. Small and easy to store in the truck. mtmuley

I like the pre mix too. Keep a new one sealed in the truck and no worry about spilling. It runs well too.

I’ve always been too cheap to buy it. Maybe I’ll grab some.
When firewood cutting I have a gas can full of ethanol free and Stihl Platinum oil. Hunting it's a new can of premix. mtmuley

Mixing stihls and huskies? I didn’t think that was allowed?
Higher octane, no ethanol, and unvented with a screw cap so doesn’t run the risk of spilling.
I don’t think you can get anything without electronics anymore.
Have you seen my photos, I don’t really fit a mold. I use the best saw available in each size. Power to weight ratio is the most important when you have to climb with it on your hip.
Also the electric saws are great in heat and quick accessibility. Nothing worse than trying to start a stubborn saw or a saw left in the sun 80 feet up in a tree or for that one last cut to finish the job. The fuel injected saws seem to always start as well.
I've switched completely to premix for saws and trimmers. Got tired of ethanol fuel related issued. Closest non ethanol station is 25 miles away. Ill take my boat there to fill up but just buy the methanol premix at the farm store.
If you guys have decent battery tools it's well worth it to get the chain saw. My BIL has dewalt tools and bought the dewalt chainsaw. It's impressive. I inherited some ryobi tools and a chainsaw was part of the collection. Even that saw was good while it lasted

Good mix of saws!
Amongst a couple of huskys, I have a clone of a 372xp that took 5 mins to tune out of the box and it is a ripper! It's identical to a real 372xp and is 1/4 the cost. I might try porting it myself to see what it can really so.
Do you do any modifications to your saws? Muffler or porting?

Yes. The 462. It comes standard with a 25 but can run bigger.
