Trekking poles, 1 or 2?

How can I trick you into buying an ATV?

Send him some marketing material

Use 2 on anything over 20% grade. Bent one pole as was falling last year. The downhill side pole bent to dang near a 90 degree angle in about 5 seconds as the weight of me and my pack was centered on the pole after my foot slipped but the crumpling pole saved me tumbling a LONG way down a nasty ridge I was side-hilling. Pack was about 90# and I was 4 miles from trailhead hunting solo.

I just got two Black Diamonds for father's day and will be giving them a shot. Between my partner and I we packed out three elk in two days last year. Pack was about 2miles each way up and over a serious ridge. The last pack (rear quarter, tenderloins and head/antlers) almost wiped this old guy out. Hopefully I will get good usage out of these this year.

If you had the right owner, being an ATV seat would be something to consider in the next life.:D I would share my trekking pole with that rider!

I think you have just provided Dink an opening to Google a bunch of images and post here for all to see.

These are all OK as a double checked and they are all sisters…………..family!
