Time on my hands, time for a project!!!

Overdue update.....got the gun put together just after Thanksgiving and FINALLY got the mag last week. Went out for first shots today. Was a little handicapped with no zero targets available (had to pick a spot for poa) but turned out OK. Crappy Winchester white box 40gr were right at 1" and 55gr Vmax went at 5/8". I'm looking to try some heavier bullets if I can find them as the twist is 1/7. Almost time for coyotes. BTW, when I had the action out I dialed the trigger all the way down and it is great!!!

With a 1/7 I’d be shooting the 77gr TMK or 88 EldM, even for coyotes. The fast twist/heavy bullet .22s are damn cool. I bet the 70 gr TSX would be easy on hides too.

My problem is that I don't reload......time to start searching.
That’s an easy fix. I’m far from a handholding pro, but it’s pretty easy for me to make ammo that’s way better than the factory stuff without compromising on the bullet I want at the velocity I want. Especially with ridiculous prices of factory ammo right now.

*Yet*. Happy to work up some handloads with you if you're able to get your hands on brass and dies.
I’m confident he will become a handloader on his own time. Some things loading we all just got to learn by did. Like who says I need case lube every time? And just yard on that arm if you feel pressure sizing/decap. Pressure signs and the real difference between the same compressed load in December and August. Notes so that we can change one variable at one time and also to remember why we did that.
