Why?I’d just thread the barrel 1/2x28 and run an adapter for your suppressor. Have done it many times

So as @jeremy.b pointed out, I can't just have someone cut and thread it, I also need a shoulder added? How the hell do they add it?The new models flare out towards the end and are threaded 5/8” and have enough shoulder
Then if he has a 5/8x24 suppressor rear fitting, that goes on other rifles that are threaded 5/8x24, he doesnt have to switch. Most suppressors that arent 224 cal seem to come with 5/8x24 as a standard. Id bet the adapter is cheaper than one of these, and like i mentioned, makes for moving the suppressor rifle to rifle easier. Why?

Muzzle Brakes are uncivilized. - James NashIf I was spending money on this I sure wouldn’t spend any on a brake.

Ah. I got the idea from Will, who did just that, on a .300WM without any issue.Because you aren’t threading a tikka lite barrel 5/8” without some extra work done unless you go with their new barrel that is flared
Yes.Also, and I'm going to feel really dumb after asking this. I'm going to want a .30 suppressor right? And that would also fit on a .300WM right?

Will’s rifle has a different barrel profile than yours.Ah. I got the idea from Will, who did just that, on a .300WM without any issue.
Ah got it.Will’s rifle has a different barrel profile than yours.
The Lite barrels are thinner at the end than the D18 barrel he started with.
But with a .270 there’s be no reason 1/2x28 threads wouldn’t work just fine.Ah got it.
Banish 30 inbound... I think.But with a .270 there’s be no reason 1/2x28 threads wouldn’t work just fine.
And get a can. It really does make that big of a difference.
The Toyota Camry of cans.Banish 30 inbound... I think.
Well do share. The Toyota Camry of cans.
I have one, it’s a good first can, but not sure the one I’d buy if I were to do it over again.
Unknown is pretty much the Christensen Arms of quality control. They charge about 30% premium to do the work that a competent smith charges and ship out product that is embarrassingly poor quality.Start fresh, get a Tikka build from Unknown Munitions.
