From what I’ve been told if they charge, you charge back. Just as he gets close you drop to one knee and give him a paralyzer punch to the chode. And if it’s a female with cubs you’re suppose to grab a cub. Because she’s afraid for the cub she won’t attack. Then you just set the cub down and send its on its way. Then you and that momma bear will have an understanding.





Because people are dumb you shouldn’t actually do this. But if you do please have someone video

Yesterday if I would of used bear spray and the wind was coming toward me I probably would of ate the bear spray.

My good friend Eugene had the best line ever when a grizzly popped up really close when he was guiding a bowhunter in the thorofare. The dude asked him what he should do as the bear was popping its teeth.

He told the dude "get out your bear spray and take your beating like a man."

I got permission from a landowner to cross their open fields to access my stand instead of crawling thru the brush. I showed em the pictures and they could not believe its size. Lived their entire life there. Just had a sow and a cub in the yard 2 weeks ago. Seen a lot of bears. Said the first time remembering seeing a grizzly down there was in the 80s. She said to me "my gosh, are you sure you want to even go back down there? I tell all the hunters who hunt my property to stay away from the creek bottom, you need to be very careful in there"
