Every year there's that one or two bucks I look forward to hunting and more times then not they win. Here's a couple bucks I've been hunting for a few years now. I missed the top one last year 😪 at 60 yards. Anyone wsle got that one deer there after ?Screenshot_20220706-220132_Tactacam Reveal.jpgScreenshot_20220706-220302_Tactacam Reveal.jpg20220703_092513.jpg

I dont have any pictures but they are burned in my mind. A 180" whitey that I just shot under at 18 yds archery. A large muley I didnt shoot because I did not know if I could cross the crevice between us and find him before it got dark. Next morning I found him again with two other smaller bucks. They busted out of a draw, I sat down and got behind the bipod just before he went behind a rock, going to pop him when he reappeared. Never saw him again. Stuff happens. Reminds of a scene from The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. If you're gonna shoot, shoot! dont look. Dang me anyhow.

Two I'll be after this fall, both are 6.5 years old, one is on our farm the other on public by my house. Both were around 150 inches last year. Screenshot_20220128-141320_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20211230-195227_Gallery.jpg
One of the dozen or so 150 inch bucks I've had slip through my fingers through the years. Public land giant me and my son both had opportunities at. Neighbor killed him, 174 inches. 20210808_200911.jpgFB_IMG_1541243368591.jpg

MAN those are some giant bucks....I'd probably fall to pieces if something that big walked out on me down here

Last year, last weekend of gun season. First year in a saddle and on a new property.
Most of the deer came into the property through a draw in the woods via a very narrow-unhunted field. I set up to intercept them as they crossed onto the property, leaving me a good view of the field I do not have permission for.

98% of deer that come through the field come right to where I was set up. After no action for several hours except a lone hen turkey. I had settled onto the notion that I wasn't going to see anything.
Then I see a small buck come into the edge of the field, easy pass, I was just happy to see a deer.
About 30min later the biggest buck I have ever seen alive walked into that narrow field with 2 does. I'm shaking cause after all 98% of deer come onto "my" property. Well he starts to nose the doe's and they run off... away from me. I give him every grunt/bleat sequence I can think of, but he doesn't care.

Worst part is, they were only 80yd away the entire time.

Small NJ yard buck so far but I’m hopeful!

Had him in range twice last year with no shot if he’s the one I think he is.

Hunted this one for two years. He got killed on the road in front of the farm in January.
