I just wish laptop mfg's would go back to adding a serial port(db9) to laptops.

I have to keep an older Dell(w XP) around so I can log into the ancient equipment that AT&T still has running.

Yes sir. I actually manage the western half of the US for my group. We do commissioning and integration on AT&T client networks(among other things).
