The hunting game

I was rummaging thru a box of old crap and I found my Magellan The Hunting Game CD. I loved this game as a kid brought back some memories. Did anyone else have this game?

That one seems familiar. Deer hunter for pc was a big one for my brother and I. Think we had them all 1 through 5? We had a couple cabelas ones too but they werent as good. Pretty much the only video games I ever played as a kid. I remember playing oregon trail in school as part of history class. My shitty grades reflected that project I spent the whole time shooting buffalo.

I played deer hunter as well. OT I’d waste all my ammo trying to hit the fast squirrels and rabbits which hardly produced any meat.

It was oregon trail 2.0 I guess. We might of ran out had low morale, no crackers and cholera. But we had plenty of meat. Lol

I remember spending a lot of time waiting for deer hunter 4 to load on the old family pc.
Bird hunter wild wings edition was cool too.

What about Duck Hunt on Nintendo? I remember on the arcade version you could shoot the dog when he laughed at you for missing.

Had my second kid that year and my third 18mos later ... a touch too busy for that kind of game night, was paying my dues for a different game night

Never played that one but did get to experience the original Oregon Trail in the elementary school library. Looking back...it encouraged wanton waste, but that's a pretty realistic pack weight

Oh yeah, my buddy had this game. It pissed me off though because the big deer would only show their antlers at the edge of the screen. Never enough for a shot.

Yea that really would piss me off. Without those big deer you couldn't complete the game.

Remember the game with 2 gorillas throwing bananas? You had to figure out velocity and shot angle? That and Oregon trail for the hunting. Both legit

Weather didn't bother us.
We had two fuzzy television channels....there was no point.
