The Big Snip - How bad is it?

As in typing this my 2 month old daughter is screaming her head off. Valentine’s Day means nothing to me.
I'm in the same boat brother. I swear a nap sounds better then sex most days.
You know the gestation period in a human is actually closer to ten months than 9 months right?!?! And 9-10 months before your kids were born was Valentine’s Day…

Sounds like you enjoyed it last year!

How olds the wife?

I’m always loaded. My wife at 50 was told she was still before menopause and should still be on the pill. We had a great laugh at that suggestion.
Family friends are mid 40s, never wanted kids. Wife was always on the pill but it failed. Doc said after 20 years on the pill it loses its effect. Their son is now 2...

The reversal process was a fun deal. Not only was it serious surgery paid for in cash out of pocket, but you had to go in multiple times and provide live samples that they could analyze. Nothing sets the mood like a doctors office, LOL. All in all, I think every male should get one free snip at 16 and then one free re-connect at the time of their choosing, LOL.

It’s possible to get pregnant in 40s onward but the odds are very low. My wife was 50. Lottery odds. One or two eggs left.

Got neutered last week. Awkward, uncomfortable, and mildly painful during the procedure. Recovery was like coming back from taking a firm kick to the boys, some soreness and bruising but nothing too exciting otherwise.

Sounds encouraging………….not at all!!

I give 10 out of 10. It’s a little awkward making small talk while a nurse preps you. A week of some pain and you get to spend the rest of your days shooting blanks.

Your wife’s idea of intimacy is different than yours, a vasectomy won’t fix that…

Had mine done about 25 years ago. I remember it well. Had the doc give me a goofy pill to calm my nerves and the two of us were laughing and telling jokes through the whole procedure! When done he had me put a death grip on my little fella for about 15 minutes - I guess like any wound you put pressure on it. So I sat there for 15 minutes with both hands in a death grip. The nurse who came in to tell me I was good to get dressed and leave was too embarrassed to look at me. LOL. I was in lala land and didn't care who was around. Ha! Moral of this story if you are nervous is to ask for a goofy pill if they don't offer you one up front and certainly accept it if they do. I had it done on a Friday and took it easy over the weekend. Good to go on Monday.
