The big 18 and adult things?

A lot of people were working other jobs. Most of which paid less than Unemployment unfortanately. Idk why nobody ever thought of this? They should've just went to McDonald's and raised a family on that.
If that is what it takes to provide for my family, that is what needs to be done.

When you choose to raise a family, your job is to provide.

Thanks for the rosy prediction, Sunshine! :)
Reality sucks. He might as well learn that now. The kid wants to start working and earn $100k. No way that is happening with some more training and education. A lot more. Start learning how to repair electrical board circuits or recycle solar panels and batteries. Thinking about the future will be far more beneficial than listening to a bunch of old guys tell you they would have invested in a Roth, which didn’t exist until 1997 and could just as easily be gone in 2027.

I got nothing, don't listen to me.
I have gone with and against most every bit of mostly solid advice here.

You are miles ahead of the crowd just asking and maybe listening to various people.
Don't be afraid to think for yourself.

In the end you wake up and you are you.

I just thank my lucky stars.

Totally. Doesnt mean it's gonna add up at the end of the day. Most the guys I know did work other jobs at about 1/3 the pay with a family with no insurance. Oh and trying to find said job was a breeze considering it was the biggest economic downturn 2nd only to the great depression. Jobs were just popping up everywhere, ya know. I dont know a single person during that time who had access to any kind of a job that turned it down. Doesn't mean that job paid the bills for a family. And to think they could've still been investing supplemental income in that situation is laughable at best.

About a year ago I had to redo a service to a house because the couple bought a really neat place that had built in the 60s turn out houses built in the 60s didn’t plan on charging a Tesla and Rivian that’s just one house most people don’t have any actual understanding what it takes to make these future plans happen.

Should keep you busy for the rest of your career. Probably not going to last long enough to keep him busy for his.
