Yep I had tears in my eyes at Cabela's tonight. (Not from not getting what I want either.

TurkeyEye had went ahead of us because he had his own money and bought something. So I went outside with him as Vipe was in check out line getting the stuff we was getting,

Well as we was outside TE says "Here Dad, I got this for you" and hands me the bag he had. I open it up and it is a book that I had been wanting for some time now "Horn of the HUnter" by Ruark.

Talk about the emotion I felt because of his unselfishness.

Sounds like you have raised him well to be so giving.

and Nut, that book will mess you up for life.
It will put something in your blood that is not easy to get rid of buddy.

That is a great kid, it is hard to run across his kind any more, there is a lot of very selfish kids on my fire crew. You are a very lucky individual...
