This is to those guys who apparently cannot afford to take critters to a cooler. Last week it was getting well into the 50's and 60's for high temps. It was not freezing at night. On Thurs. I was up to a local establishment for a meeting and when I left I drove around back of the hotel.

Here is what was parked there. A pile of 9 deer with blood running out of them just thrown into a trailer, parked right on the side walk that everyone had to walk past. I am no bleeding heart but if I was an anti hunter it would sure give me some ammo. A $5 tarp would go a long ways IMO.

Can even blame it on NR's.

Unfortunately, no IQ test required to purchase a hunting license. Idgits, damn Idgits!

Makes me sick! One of my favorite parts of the hunt is being able to eat the greatest table fair in the world. Very sad!

I bet their wives say wild critters are gamey and won't eat them.

The best I ever saw was a doe on the tongue of a trailer in a giant blizzard going down I-70 covered in slush and Mag Cloride............YUMMY.

That's probably even worse than the buck me and Oak saw hanging in the sun on a fence post along a dirt road in 60+ degree temps. Folks like that sure make it hard to stand up for 'everyone'.

That kind of thing pisses me off. I think we owe it to the animals we hunt to take care of them after the
kill. That's how we show respect to the great animals we hunt.

The 4 dash says a lot. Sad but modern day hunting seems to have lost something. It's not the same as when I was a boy. A doe deer shot was treated with excitement, hustled into the shed and hide removed asap. You were happy and fulfilled by the success. You didn't need approval from anybody. The act was relived as long as the meat lasted. We are our own worste enemy it seems.

One call to FWP with that plate number and they can make the owners prove that they either processed the meat themselves or had it done at processor. 9 deer should provide a load of meat and if the numbers don't add up they could be fined. I had to do this on a bear I shot.

I agree fully with your thought process regarding the "4dash" part of your statement, that was the first thing I thought when I saw the trailer plates as well. But unfortunately, doesn't matter what plate it has on it, there are some morons every where. I mean good lord, at least roll the kides of them before you have'em all stacked up like that.

What does the 4 dash say?
It says what county the trailer was licensed in, nothing else.
It could have just as easily been a 7, 1, 5 or 3. Not like Missoula is the only town in the state with slob hunters.
