I’ve had the F15s from Mountain Home Air Force base do practice runs on my truck when I’ve been out in the desert. You get used to it.

Sleeping in the bed of my truck they dropped a flair on me. I thought someone was shinning a flashlight in my face until I forced my eyes open to see the snow covered hills were like daylight around me. I've had more "flash bang"? Idk dropped on me then I could count.
They definitely use us in their exercises.
